Unless we know God’s purpose in our life, we cannot understand how life really works.
“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED according to His PURPOSE.” Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Why are we running on an empty tank?
Jesus said, “If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your soul. For the yoke I share with you is easy to wear and the load is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Increase your influence by standing out from the crowd and standing up for God
“Consider yourself blessed if people put you down or throw you out, or speak lies about you because of me. If that happens, be happy, knowing that you will be rewarded greatly in heaven! And remember you are in good company — they did the same to all my witnesses before you.” Matthew 5:11-12
Uncommon means outstanding, worthy of attention. “”Daniel so distinguished himself from all the other leaders by his uncommon qualities that the king planned to put him in charge over the entire empire!” Daniel 6:3
Pneumatology is the study of the Holy Spirit in theological terminology. Who is the Holy Spirit? What is the biblical evidence for the personhood of the Spirit? What is the Holy Spirit’s role in a person’s conversion and sanctification? What about spiritual gifts?
When you fall in love, it’s natural to want to express your love in physical ways. But you also know God wants you to remain sexually pure—in both your actions and your thoughts. Sometimes it’s a tough balance, but showing love for another while remaining pure is possible.
Every financial transaction should be a spiritual decision. Why? Because God is using money to test us. “So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?” Luke 16:11
“We are not meant to remain as children at the mercy of every chance wind of teaching… Instead we are meant to hold firmly to the truth in love, and to grow up in every way into Christ…” Ephesians 4:14
