READY

Once, there was an older man, who was broke, living in a tiny house and owned a beat up car. He was living off of $99 social security checks. At 65 years of age, he decides things had to change. So he thought about what he had to offer. His friends raved about his chicken recipe. He decided that this was his best shot at making a change. He left Kentucky and traveled to different states to try to sell his recipe. He told restaurant owners that he had a mouthwatering chicken recipe. He offered the recipe to them for free, just asking for a small percentage of the items sold. Sounds like a good deal, right? Unfortunately, not to most of the restaurants. He heard NO over 1000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up. He believed his chicken recipe was something special. He got rejected 1009 times before he heard his first yes. With that one success, Colonel Hartland Sanders changed the way Americans eat chicken. Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, was born.

GET SET

What separates the winners from the losers? Losers just stop at what they do best. Winners keep on moving on towards their impossible dreams.

  1. Never Stop Planning – Alan Lakein said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” We are experiencing failures in our lives because we have failed to put ample time in planning our goals to accomplish. How much time must we give to planning? Remember this principle: 50% of planning time + 50% execution time = 100% success. In planning our goals, we must be SMART: Specific > Measurable > Attainable> Reaslitic > Time-Bound. Your written plan will be the blueprint for your day-to-day or week-to-week success!
  2. Never Stop Moving – movement is life. People and organizations die because of lack of movement. When we talk about this word “movement” we are referring to (1) movement as an exertion of effort or (2) movement as a mission to be accomplished. The movement also prescribes a direction. It’s impossible to reach point A to point B if you don’t have a clear path. It must be continuous, passionate and full of direction!
  3. Never Stop Finishing – Philippians 1:6 (ESV) says, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Whatever things God has started in our lives will end up for the completion of his glorious goals in your life. When you finish a goal and task it leads to the immediate glory of God. We set a resolute goal with the purpose of finishing it with a bang. What then is the
significance of goal if not for it to be accomplished.

GO

Keep on moving until you reach and accomplish your God given and guided goals.
