Was there a miracle that God did in your life this week?
How did it affect or upgraded the quality of your life?

Step # 1: ADORATION (Matthew 6:9-10)

  • Fully acknowledge his lordship and will in your life.

Step # 2: CONFESSION (Matthew 6:12)

Step # 3: THANKSGIVING (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

  • What are you thankful to God now? What have you learned or benefitted from that situation?
  • “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” – Melody Beattie (American Writer)

Step # 4: SUPPLICATION

  • Ask God to provide for your daily needs. (Matthew 6:11)
  • Ask God to keep you away from and to deliver you out of evil and temptation. (Matthew 6:13)

Identity # 2: He is Just & He Must Punish Us

  • Isaiah 13:11 (ESV) I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

  • Romans 3:23 (ESV) …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,…

Fact #2:  We Cannot Save Ourselves

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV) [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
  • Titus 3:5 (ESV) …he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,…

Grace is “unmerited favor”. Even if we don’t deserve it God freely
and willingly gives it to us.

Grace Truth # 1: Grace is a Free Gift

  • Romans 6:23 (ESV) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Eternal life in heaven is a free gift we receive from God.
  • Supposing you’ll die today, do you know where you will surely go?

Grace Truth # 2: Grace is Not Earned of Deserved

  • John 3:16 (ESV) “…that he gave his only Son,…”
  • God gave his Son (Jesus) as the greatest gift to mankind for the salvation of everyone from any kind of sin. (Romans 8:32)
  • We must let go of our sins by confessing it to God. (1 John 1:9)

What must we do with God’s Grace?

  • EXCEL in Grace – 2 Corinthians 8:7 (ESV) But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.
  • LIVE with Grace – 2 Timothy 2:1 (ESV) You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus
  • MAGNIFY Grace – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV) But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Upon receiving this truth about grace, who are the persons you would like to share this?
