Pneumatology is the study of the Holy Spirit in theological terminology. Who is the Holy Spirit? What is the biblical evidence for the personhood of the Spirit? What is the Holy Spirit’s role in a person’s conversion and sanctification? What about spiritual gifts?
When you fall in love, it’s natural to want to express your love in physical ways. But you also know God wants you to remain sexually pure—in both your actions and your thoughts. Sometimes it’s a tough balance, but showing love for another while remaining pure is possible.
Every financial transaction should be a spiritual decision. Why? Because God is using money to test us. “So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?” Luke 16:11
“We are not meant to remain as children at the mercy of every chance wind of teaching… Instead we are meant to hold firmly to the truth in love, and to grow up in every way into Christ…” Ephesians 4:14
“These signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues: they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18
It is godly to resolve a conflict than to dissolve a relationship. Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you. Ephesians 4:29 (TEV)
How is our work helping us to do our mission from God? Are we able to keep our focus on God’s Kingdom while we are working on the advancement of our career? “What do people really get for all their hard work?” Ecclesiastes 3:9 (NLT)
A stronghold is a mental block. It can be a worldview, such as materialism etc. or a personal attitude. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17: 9).
