Our devotion reflects our commitment to a clear set of godly core values. “This I say for your own benefit… but to promote what is appropriate and to secure undistracted devotion to the Lord” (1 Corinthians 7:35).

The generation behind us is the greatest resource God has given us to equip, train, and prepare to be the next line of warriors when we are gone. We all then have a responsibility of raising up the next generation to come and follow God. How do we put this huge responsibility into action?

We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do! Eph. 2:10

God calls me to become mature like His Son Jesus Christ. “For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them TO BECOME LIKE HIS SON, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters.” Romans 8:29 (NLT)

God wants us to be His children. “God is the one who made all things, and all things are for his glory. He wanted to have many children share his glory…” Hebrews. 2:10 (NCV)

Unless we know God’s purpose in our life, we cannot understand how life really works.

Emotional Health is the ability to be aware of our own or others emotions and be able to control it and to make the necessary adjustments.

We have a broken relationship with God but Jesus made the first move towards reconciliation. Now, we should pursue peace with other people. Our first ministry is that of reconciliation: if we are in Christ, He will use us in reconciling the world to Him.

Things would be better if we start thanking God for the people that He has given to us instead of complaining. “Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.”Philippians 1:3 (NLT)

Jesus wants us to live intentionally our purpose and our calling. How intentional are we in becoming like these?
