Emotional Health is the ability to be aware of our own or other’s emotions and be able to control it and to make the necessary adjustments.
"My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them. and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet. and be steadfast in all your ways." Proverbs 4: 20 – 26
What does GOD want to do with my life?
"Be careful how you live. Live wisely, not foolishly. Make the most of your time and take every opportunity to do good because evil is everywhere. Don't live carelessly without thinking. Instead, make sure you understand what the Lord wants you to do with your life." Eph. 5:15-17
How can I become wise like Daniel?
"This man Daniel . . . has a sharp mind and is filled with knowledge and understanding. He can interpret dreams, explain the meaning of mysteries and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what it means." Daniel 5:12
Those who truly love will always show mercy. When we fail or when others fail, God expects us to show mercy.
"You must show mercy to others, or God won't show mercy to you when he judges you one day. But the person who shows mercy will stand without fear at the judgment. Mercy triumphs over judgment!" James 2:13
Anyone can pray for healing as long as He is a firm believer of Jesus!
"Is anyone of you sick? Then you should call the leaders of your church to pray over you and anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord. Then the prayer that is offered in faith will make the sick person well and the Lord will restore that person to health. And if that person has sinned, he will be forgiven. So then, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed!" James 5:13-14
What is Jesus telling us to do? Is it to use our work/ studies as a platform for his message? Is it to desperately ask Him to come into our ‘boat’ so we can obey His given instructions?
• 'Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men!' So they pulled their boats up on shore, and THEY left everything and followed JESUS!" Luke 5:10-11
